The room
The room is small, and the rules are how we keep it as it is.
Six rules
None during the nigiri sequence, and none of other guests. A single quiet photograph at your own seat is fine.
At the counter. The Ozashiki is a conversation, so telephone us.
Fragrance carries on cypress and disturbs the cure. This one is not about etiquette.
The sequence cannot be paused, and the second seating is behind you.
Calls taken outside. The room has no music on purpose.
We adjust for declared allergies and for nothing beyond them.
Guests who do not respect these may be asked to leave, and the seating fee is retained. It has happened twice in five years and we would rather it never happened again.
